A Big Day Today

Big day today.
Alan & I finally finished duplicating all of the templates for the Wildthing 46″, so we can now start making them at home instead of dashing backwards and forwards to Alan’s house on a weekly basis.

That will save me about 4 hours of traveling time and about 120 miles of fuel each visit.

Now that’s all out of the way we are on a mission to fulfil the back log of orders that have built up over the last couple of weeks.

I will keep you all posted as to the progress over the next week or so.

Remember each and every wing, fuselage, fin and elevon is cut and machined by hand.
Those little pots of glue you get in a kit…..
Filled by hand.
Those little rolls of double sided tape…..
Rolled by hand.
Those push rods…..
Cut to size and Z bends done by hand.
The little 1/8th” bits of balsa that go in the elevons….
Cut by hand.
The triangular fin supports….
Cut by hand.
Even the box it all comes in is hand made from sheet card.

Its going to be a busy few weeks.
