The original WILDTHING was the first fully kitted EPP model in the U.K. back in 1997. It was the most popular model in the first National Combat Championships in 1998, which it won.
Many improvements have been made since those early days.
The WILDTHING was designed to be a good all round sports model capable of staying up in light lift, flying in stronger winds without ballast, satisfying the expert aerobatic pilot yet docile enough to make an ideal trainer.
It achieved all these objectives and more, rapidly establishing itself as the market leader, a position it has maintained ever since.
The wingspan has been kept at 46″ span for ease of transportation and will fit in the boot of most hatchbacks.
The section has been changed and the root and tip chords reduced.
Naturally it not only complies with the BMFA Slope Combat Rules, but exceeds their requirements in several ways that we think should be incorporated within the rules, such as protection for the servo arms, push rods and control horns. This agile model scores tops for the fun factor, and if you want to put a grin on your face.
